PCs for Kids will re-open on 13th January 2025. We will work through applications and hope we have some suitable laptops given to us to satisfy the demand. January and February are busy months for us and we will start the year with a backlog of applications so response times will continue to be longer than we would like.
Help for children in need of a computer
PCs for Kids donates refurbished computers to children or youth under 18 years of age who are in personal or family circumstances which prevent them having the required access to a suitable computer.
Recipients must be referred by a school, charity, medical or relevant support establishment and need to have a valid pension or health care card.

To apply complete the following steps and email or post documents to PCs for Kids (as per Contact Us page).
- Download and complete the Application for Computer form.
- Obtain a signed letter on letterhead from the referring organization indicating the applicable circumstances and the benefits to the child of receiving a computer.
- Take a copy of the applicable pension or health care card (this will be destroyed after approval).
