PC's For Kids Inc.(asic.gov.au)Our Purpose - what we do with the money we earn
PCs for Kids donates computers to children who are in personal or family circumstances which prevent them having the required access to a suitable computer. The child must be nominated by a relevant support organisation.
Maintaining a stock of computers suitable for providing to children in need is the highest priority.
Since 2020 PCs for Kids has taken a rejuvenated management approach enabling more funds to be raised from the equipment donated via more items available for sale in the shop and more focused recycling. The additional money raised is donated to primary schools enabling provision of activities such as camps to benefit even more children.
Computers provided free of charge to children in need.
In 2023 - 89 computers provided free of charge, double the number in previous years. 2022 - 42 computers provided. 2021 - 46 computers provided.
Cash donations to schools in the Geelong and Bellarine region
2020-2022 $104,000 in total consisting of 43 donations to 16 different schools
